Short film program 2

The second short film program focuses on Cytter's unique approach to staging performances. While the scenes in THE DATES SERIES (NL 2004) create an eerie atmosphere by separating emotion from media embodiment, DER SPIEGEL (G 2008), commented upon by a naked choir, depicts a 42-year-old woman searching for herself as a 16-year-old. FASHIONS (Germany 2020) was commissioned by the Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism.
